Senior Estimator

Job Description:

• Responsible for receiving, organizing and reviewing tender specification.
• Responsible for ensuring that an efficient filing system for clarifications and submissions is maintained, as well as the safe custody of cost estimations for all tenders
• Responsible for coordinating and requesting quotations from Procurement & Subcontracting department, suppliers and contractors to update cost database
• Responsible for preparing cost estimations in a timely fashion for submission to respective superior(s) for review of cost and formulation of pricing strategy
• Responsible for regular updating of commercial data, commodity market indices, market cost data, unit rates and technical information on materials, services and labor for executive management to make informed decisions.
• Responsible for preparing post project costing analysis report and submit it to superior(s) for review.

Job Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in any Engineering or technical discipline
• Project estimating experience
• Knowledge of costing, materials, and production methods
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
