Senior HR Generalist / Assistant HR Manager

Job Summary

Assist the GM/Director in delivering strategic, high-quality human resources services across the group, driving talent management, compliance, and employer branding to support business growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of strategic human resources plans, policies, and activities to attract and retain talent aligned with business objectives.
• Direct and oversee all human resources functions, operations, and activities to ensure effective service delivery and organizational support.
• Research and analyze HR trends and data to provide actionable insights that add value to business and support units.
• Collaborate with divisional directors to manage initiatives and events that align with the Group’s vision and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Establish and manage operational budgets, ensuring achievement of budget goals and cost-effective development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with labour legislation and protect the interests of all parties in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain clear and effective communication channels with internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration and service excellence.
• Drive innovative and strategic initiatives to enhance organizational culture and strengthen employer branding across the Group.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of managerial or senior managerial experience in construction or engineering-related fields, demonstrating expertise in compensation and benefits, talent management, training and development, and HR service excellence.
• Proven leadership, analytical, and communication skills with a strategic understanding of the construction business environment.
• Knowledge of local and regional labour legislation is advantageous.
• Established network within land transport and infrastructure construction sectors and key industry professionals.
