Senior Mechanical Designer

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing mechanical drawings, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring designs meet project requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and update mechanical design drawings using AutoCAD and CAD software.
• Produce fabrication and installation drawings.
• Review technical drawings and project specifications.
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, clients, and site teams.
• Ensure designs comply with safety and engineering standards.
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) and other project documentation.
• Resolve design issues and provide technical support during project execution.
• Mentor junior designers when required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant mechanical design experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other CAD software.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
