Senior/ Operations Manager (Facilities)(SP)(MA)(Commercial Building)

Job Description & Requirements

The ideal candidate will have an ability to Plan and control all activities relating to daily scheduling of work, operation needs, and supervision of sub-contractors, technicians and apprentice as well as providing technical training to technicians and apprentice. In addition, to prepare quotation and attend meetings with clients and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
• Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
• Conduct, recommendation and implementation of employee retention strategies.
• Serve as the technical expert for detailed design and aspects of the project and maintain technical vision & roadmap.
• Prepare and ensure timely delivery of reports on Risk Assessment / Margin of Safety / Standard Operating Procedure.
• Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency
• Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability including managing of budgets and forecasts.
• Estimating and forecasting future financial needs for related project needs.
• Act as Key Contact for related matters with clients.
• Preparation of quotations and closing of sales with clients.
• Work to develop and implement client service strategies while providing a positive experience for all clients.
• Responsible for liaising with Vendors and Sub Contractors to ensure that they are of a sufficient quality and are cost-efficient.
• Recruit, train and supervise a team of technical staff
• Formulate strategic operational routine and repair schedules

Qualifications:

• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / M&E or relevant field
• Proven work experience as Operations/ Facilities Manager or similar role
• Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
• Excellent communication skills
• Leadership ability
• Outstanding organisational skills
• Experience working and handling grade A commercial buildings is a plus
