Senior Project Cost Control

Experience in major construction projects is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the project budget scope from project start up through to final closeout.

Set up project cost report.

Monitor construction schedule for all work packages in conjunction with construction PM’s.

Highlight any schedule and/or budget issues:

Work with GC and client on mitigation plans.

Validate all commercial claims together with scope input from project technical team and project management.

Ensure timely submission of all documentation with regard to progress claims.

Invoicing:

Ensure all invoices are submitted in a timely manner to meet client GR/CF plan.

Closely manage all contractors for invoice submission to meet GR.

Manage CF forecast.

Change/Variation Order:

Manage all change via client change management processes.

Ensure that no works are carried out without fully approved VO & PO.

Funding requests.

PO requests.

Savings.

Close out.
