Senior Project Planner

Job Description:

• Assist the Project Manager and the project team to prepare, analyze, monitor and up-keep the project schedules for the project department.
• Prepare the project schedule of up to level 4 subject to project requirements using software such as MS Project and/or Primavera 6
• Integration of clients’ subcontractors and vendors’ schedule into the overall project schedule.
• Monitor the schedule progress, manhours, material requirement, mobilization plans, etc by working and maintaining close communication with clients, contractors and other internal departments.
• Expedite supply of materials, manpower and other related items to meet project timelines.
• Receive and verify site progress measurement data and prepare routine progress reports. Expedite site progress measurement, prepare and submit progress reports timely.
• Perform critical path evaluation on site activities whenever required.
• Participate in the weekly project meetings, highlight areas of concern whenever necessary.
• Prepare Level 1 or 2 schedule for Bidding purposes using Primavera P6 software
• Prepare Monthly Revenue Run-offs and Shop Capacity Planning
• Assist Project Manager in creating, updating and monitoring project budget using Oracle
• Assist Project Manager during P&L discussions
• Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager from time to time.

Jobs Requirement:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 8 years experience in Mairne Offshore/O&G insdustry in the same role
• Experience in using Microsoft Project and P6
