Senior Project/Site Engineer

Senior Project/ Site Engineer is responsible for assisting the Project Manager on the progress of the projects/site works and manpower related aspects of the project. He/She is to oversee drawing management and make sure the updated drawings to the clients and subcontractor are issued. This also includes planning and coordinating technical engineering initiatives to make sure a project can be completed within budget and according to schedule, while upholding project standards by researching compliance regulations, developing project implementation plans and adjusting specifications for elements of a project.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule work sequences for construction operation
• To study tender / construction drawings, specifications and contracts to understand project requirements
• Liaise with consultants, clients & main/sub-contractors and coordinate for site activities arrangement, design submission and work progress supervision
• Perform site inspection (excavation, structural, casting) and ensure that the work is carried out based on the project specification and construction drawing / final approved drawing from authorities
• Lead a team of supervisors / foreman for works coordination with main/subcontractors and/or authorities and/or consultant on project progress and technical issues
• Assist in preparation of method statement and construction sequence for project implementation
• Assist Project Manager in Project Costing, monthly progress claims and monthly progress report
• Support Quantity Surveyor (QS) in verifying progress payments and claims
• Coordinating the handing-over of completed works to the client and completion of the necessary rectification works

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possesses Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• At least 4-6 years of working experience in the related field is required
