Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary

Manage construction materials procurement and cost estimation to support LTA MRT project contracts. Prepare and certify subcontractors' progress claims, leveraging quantity surveying or civil engineering expertise to ensure accurate contract administration and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Apply quantity surveying and civil engineering knowledge to manage construction materials procurement for project efficiency and cost control
• Estimate project costs accurately to support budgeting and financial planning in construction projects
• Prepare and certify subcontractors' progress claims to ensure timely and accurate payment processing
• Administer LTA MRT project contracts by reviewing contract terms and ensuring compliance with project requirements
• Utilize BIM knowledge to enhance project coordination and documentation accuracy (preferred skill)

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in LTA MRT project contracts administration
• Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) to support project management and coordination
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying or related construction field
• Degree in quantity surveying, civil engineering, or equivalent
