Senior Sales & Marketing Manager

JOB TITLE: Senior Sales& Marketing Manager

REPORTS TO: CEO

JOB PURPOSE

To lead the sales and marketing functions of the company, drive revenue growth, expand market share, secure new projects, manage key customer relationships, and oversee the preparation and submission of project tenders and quotations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development &Sales

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue and profitability targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction, infrastructure, industrial, and precast sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, main contractors, consultants, architects, and government agencies.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and business opportunities.
• Attend industry events, networking functions, and trade exhibitions to promote company products and services.

Tender & Quotation Management

• Lead the preparation, costing, review, and submission of tenders, RFQs, and project proposals.
• Liaise with Engineering, Production, and Operations teams to ensure accurate pricing and project feasibility.
• Review tender specifications, drawings, and contract requirements.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contractual matters with clients.
• Monitor tender outcomes and maintain tender databases and records.

Account & Contract Management

• Manage key accounts and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Handle customer enquiries, project negotiations, and contract administration matters.
• Ensure timely follow-up on quotations and project opportunities.
• Resolve commercial and customer-related issues effectively.

Marketing & Brand Development

• Develop and implement marketing initiatives to strengthen the company's market presence.
• Collaborate with management on branding, promotional activities, and corporate communications.
• Prepare sales forecasts, market intelligence reports, and management presentations.

Team Leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop the Sales & Marketing team.
• Establish KPIs and monitor team performance.
• Foster collaboration across Sales, Engineering, Production, and Finance departments.

Reporting

• Prepare monthly sales reports, pipeline updates, tender status reports, and market analysis for management review.
• Monitor sales performance against budgets and targets.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8–10 years of sales and business development experience, preferably within the precast concrete, construction, or building materials industry.
• Proven experience in project tendering, quotation preparation, contract negotiation, and project sales.
• Strong network within the Singapore construction industry.
• Good understanding of precast products, construction methodologies, and project requirements.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
• Possession of a valid Class 3 driving license is advantageous.
