Senior Site Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical input on project drawings, designs and operating parameters, and oversee construction engineering activities.
• Plan daily project activities using updated engineering drawings and monitor progress to ensure work is carried out according to project specifications.
• Support project cost control and ensure efficient utilisation of machinery, materials, spare parts and other resources.
• Review geotechnical conditions, including soil conditions and CPT information, to identify project risks and recommend mitigation measures.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, progress claims, daily reports, site diaries and QA/QC reports.
• Prepare cost calculations, financial projections and project-related reports in a timely manner.
• Implement and maintain QA/QC and HSEQ requirements at project sites.
• Conduct checks and testing to ensure materials and work procedures comply with project and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, subcontractors, vendors and suppliers.
• Assist the Project Manager in preparing and monitoring project work schedules.
• Lead and coordinate site personnel to ensure safety, quality and productivity requirements are achieved.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in ground improvement works.
• Experience in geotechnical or foundation-related construction projects will be advantageous.
• Valid Supervise Construction Work for WSH certification will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working at construction sites and in outdoor environments.
