Site Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Acts as the main technical advisor on construction sites, supervising staff, tools, and materials to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Interpret technical designs, set out site layouts, provide technical advice, and enforce safety regulations.
• Setting out, leveling, and surveying the site to establish building locations, grades, and elevations, ensuring all structural work follows design plans.
• Overseeing daily construction activities, managing subcontractors, and coordinating materials and labor to meet project goals.
• Providing technical solutions to site issues and conducting quality assurance inspections to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Enforcing safety protocols, conducting safety audits, and ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations.
• Maintaining accurate project documentation, such as site diaries, daily progress reports, and change orders.

Requirements:

• Min Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Min 3 years of relevant experience in geotechnical works and site supervision
• Experience in pipe jacking, tunnelling, or mining works preferred
• Knowledge of safety regulations and geotechnical construction standards
