Job Description

Dong Construction & Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to manage and coordinate civil engineering infrastructure projects in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for site execution, technical coordination, construction planning, quality control, and ensuring compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.

The role requires close coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and coordinate daily site construction activities.

• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

• Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site reports.

• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and government authorities.

• Resolve technical and construction issues encountered on site.

• Prepare method statements, inspection requests, work schedules, and technical submissions.

• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety procedures.

• Monitor workmanship and quality to ensure compliance with contract specifications.

• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment deployment, and manpower allocation.

• Attend site meetings and support project planning and execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB), Singapore.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant Site Engineer experience in Singapore.

• Experience in civil engineering infrastructure projects, including one or more of the following:

  • Road works

  • Drainage works

  • Earthworks

  • Sewer and utility works

  • Reinforced concrete structures

  • Pipe laying and infrastructure construction

• Good understanding of Singapore construction practices, BCA and WSH requirements.

• Able to interpret engineering drawings and construction specifications.

• Good organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

• Experience with BIM software will be an advantage.

• Possession of a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving License is an advantage.
