Job Description - Site Engineer

Job Summary

A construction engineer bridges the gap between the design office and the field. They oversee the planning, structural integrity, and daily execution of building and infrastructure projects. Their primary goals are to ensure construction is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to exact technical specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Project Management & Planning:
  • Develop construction plans, project schedules, and budgets from initial conception to final delivery.
  • Design & Engineering:
  • Interpret blueprints, evaluate structural integrity, and troubleshoot technical or design conflicts on-site.
  • Site Oversight:
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, supervise subcontractors, and verify quality control.
  • Safety & Compliance:
  • Enforce safety and environmental regulations, ensure adherence to building codes, and manage permit applications.
  • Stakeholder Coordination:
  • Serve as the central hub connecting clients, architects, project managers, and vendors

    Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a closely related field
  • More than 3 years relevant experience
