Job Description - Site Manager (RC Division)

Job Summary

Manage multiple reinforced concrete (RC) structural subcontract projects, ensuring quality, safety, schedule, and cost objectives are met. Lead teams, coordinate resources, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to drive successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee 6–8 RC Structural subcontract projects simultaneously to ensure timely and quality delivery
  • Review and approve monthly work plans prepared by each Site Supervisor to align with project goals
  • Monitor project progress and execute according to schedule to meet deadlines
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Report monthly to Management on project progress, manpower deployment, cost performance, site issues, recovery plans, and project targets
  • Attend key coordination and progress meetings with Main Contractors to resolve issues and align project objectives
  • Coordinate manpower and resources across multiple projects to maximize productivity
  • Allocate appropriate personnel to projects based on skills and project requirements
  • Supervise project quality, safety, progress, and cost performance to maintain standards and control expenses
  • Resolve major construction and coordination issues to minimize delays and risks
  • Coach and develop Site Supervisors and project teams to enhance performance and capabilities
  • Establish and maintain consistent project management standards across all sites to ensure uniformity and efficiency
  • Review and coordinate Structural, Architectural, Precast, M&E, and Shop Drawings to identify clashes and implement technical solutions before construction
  • Prepare, review, and monitor Weekly Plans, Monthly Plans, Overall Project Schedules, and Manpower Planning to ensure effective resource management
  • Control project costs including labour, materials, equipment, and productivity to meet budget targets
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PDF, CAD, and WhatsApp for project reporting and analysis
  • Communicate effectively with Main Contractors, Consultants, Developers, and company management to facilitate smooth project execution
  • Coordinate with Main Contractors, Consultants, QP/PE, Surveyors, Precast Suppliers, Rebar Suppliers, Formwork Suppliers, Concrete Suppliers, M&E Contractors, and Crane & Lifting Teams to ensure seamless operations
  • Lead teams to achieve project quality, safety, schedule, and cost objectives with a results-oriented approach
  • Demonstrate responsibility, decisiveness, and ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic construction environment

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum 8 years of Singapore RC Structural construction management experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • Proficient in reviewing and coordinating Structural, Architectural, Precast, M&E, and Shop Drawings
  • Familiarity with Singapore construction regulations, BCA, and MOM requirements
  • Valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and resource allocation skills
