Site Project Cordinator cum QS

Excel M&E Engineering (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a Site Project Coordinator / QS (Quantity Surveyor) to join our team in the East Region. This is a full-time position that combines site coordination with quantity surveying responsibilities, playing a crucial role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. In this role, you will be the vital link between the site operations, management, and financial control of construction projects, overseeing both the practical and commercial aspects of project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control project costs, including preparing cost reports, valuations, and financial forecasts

• Manage site documentation, including variation orders, claims, and contract administration matters

• Coordinate site activities and ensure compliance with project schedules and timelines

• Liaise between the site team, head office, clients, and consultants to facilitate effective communication

• Assist in the preparation and management of tender documentation and cost estimates

• Conduct site inspections and prepare progress reports for stakeholders

• Support quality assurance and health and safety compliance on site

• Maintain accurate project records, drawings, and contracts documentation

• Assist with procurement and vendor management activities

• Track and report on project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

What we're looking for

• An all rounder

• 2-5 years of experience in construction project coordination and/or quantity surveying

• Strong knowledge of construction practices, methodologies, and contract management

• Proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial tracking

• Experience with construction software and tools (e.g., project management software, spreadsheet applications)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of Singapore construction industry standards and regulations

• Relevant certifications (e.g., RICS, AIQS) would be advantageous
