Specialist Procurement

Role Purpose:

The Specialist Procurement supports dedicated work packages from tendering to contract award and will work with interdisciplinary interfaces and stakeholders such as Engineering, Project and Commercial Management, Scheduling, Legal and Construction Management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supports in managing the existing supplier base and identifying new suppliers, to ensure suppliers meet Exyte's sourcing standards
• Supports the RFP process, including compiling documentation, and issuance of RFPs on ARIBA. Closely monitoring and provide guidance to suppliers for timely and high-quality returns
• Supports the preparation of an initial commercial bid evaluation and collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders to gain an understanding of overall RFP compliance and supplier competitiveness and jointly create a shortlist
• Supports in the contract clarification and negotiation process in accordance with the project plan, involving suppliers and internal and external stakeholders
• Supports in the preparation of the final commercial tender evaluation, coordination with the relevant internal stakeholders and presentation of the award recommendation in order to obtain the approval of internal and external stakeholders
• Maintains various procurement related databases / reports.
• Preparation of purchase orders and ensuring the transfer of procurement knowledge and information to the procurement and subcontracting team, such as Expediting and Logistics, after the contract is awarded
• Regularly communicate on issues such as project progress and work closely with the PSM Team to ensure complete transparency of all procurement-related matters

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
• Initial professional experience in construction and engineering projects
• Experience in working with SAP or ARIBA and MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
• Commercial awareness and business acumen
• Ready to take action, achieve results and collaborate company-wide
• Decision making skills and accountability
