Specification Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and technical Specification Manager to drive early-stage product adoption across key architectural and construction projects. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing and Sales, you will actively engage with key industry influencers—including architects, consultants, developers, and regulatory authorities—to ensure our systems and products are specified and approved during the design phases.

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder Engagement & Early Specification: Connect with developers, principal architects, engineering consultants, contractors, and local authorities during concept and design phases to secure official product/system specifications and approvals.

Technical Advisory: Deliver technical guidance, system proposals, and regulatory alignment advice to design teams to facilitate smooth product integration into project blueprints.

Strategic Reporting: Collaborate closely with the Head of Marketing and Sales to align specification targets with commercial sales opportunities and regional market growth strategies.

Requirements

Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering, Building, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline.

Experience: Proven track record in product or system specification management within the construction and building materials sector.

Regional Knowledge: Solid understanding of South East Asian construction workflows, site practices, and regional building design compliances/standards.

Core Competencies:

Strong network-building and consultative relationship-management skills with design consultants and developer networks.

Ability to translate technical product features into compelling value propositions for design specifiers.

Excellent presentation, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
