Steel Reinforcement Worker

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Steel Reinforcement Workers to join our construction projects, performing installation and assembly of reinforcing steel bars to meet safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Install reinforcing steel bars accurately according to construction drawings to ensure structural integrity
• Cut, bend, and tie reinforcement bars to specified shapes and sizes for assembly
• Assemble reinforcement cages and mesh to prepare for concrete pouring
• Follow safety protocols and quality standards consistently to maintain a safe work environment and meet project requirements
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with supervisors and other trades on site to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in steel reinforcement work
• Ability to read and interpret reinforcement drawings
• Capability to perform heavy physical work safely and efficiently
• Demonstrate teamwork by collaborating with colleagues and supervisors
• Willingness to work overtime as project demands require
