Qualification and Skills:

Bachelor's / post-graduate Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent from a recognised institution (approved by BCA to qualify for Technical Controller roles).

At least 5 – 7  years of practical experience in the execution of steel / construction projects in Singapore after attaining the qualifications

Exposure to engineering design in facade / curtain wall /roofs / space frames / Architectural steel trades

Familiar with structural FEM Analysis program in Singapore as well as British standards.

Familiar with software packages i.e. Auto cad, STAAD Pro. or STRAND is a must.

Hands on experience with Tekla would be an added advantage.

Essential Job Functions:

Conceptualization and design of aluminium structure, glass,cladding, steel structure and other facade materials

Prepare Engineering Calculation and Analysis based on the required code by using STAAD Pro and Auto Cad software

Prepare and check design drawings

Ensure that the engineering submissions and revisions are delivered on time

Assist to provide technical input, support and solutions for all technical proposals and tenders

Liaise with clients, consultants and other subcontractors

Assist with structural analysis

Site inspections as and when required

Any other duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager /Technical Head
