Surveyor

About the role

McConnell Dowell is seeking to hire an experienced Surveyor for a marine works project in the East.

Key responsibilities of the role include;

• Timely provision of effective surveying services to the project
• Implementing pertinent requirements of the Project Execution Plan (PEP) including referenced procedures.
• Establishing and /or verifying control data for the works
• Establishing the position and location of all permanent and temporary structures within the specified tolerances
• Establish and /or verifying benchmarks and recovery points
• Provide data as necessary to facilitate engineering and design
• Provision of positional verification services
• Collection of accurate As-built data
• Compliance with the Safety and Environmental Responsibilities as specified
• Procurement and maintenance of survey equipment, including the organization of any equipment/instrument calibrations.
• Engineering exercises as required; volumes, earthworks, quantity take-offs
• Provide field survey information to construction staff
• Organise survey activities so as to avoid delays to the construction works

About You

To be considered for this role, you will have

• Relevant tertiary qualification in surveying.
• Minimum of 6 years surveying experience in the construction industry.
• Self-sufficient, requiring minimal supervision.
• Can lead, organise, and motivate others.
• Competent in use of Survey packages.
• Ability to communicate with construction field staff and co-ordinate on survey issues
• Able to work on alternate Saturdays.
• Transport pick up at Tanah Merah MRT.
