Job Summary

Lead and support mechanical building services design for infrastructure projects in Singapore. Provide technical leadership, ensure compliance, resolve complex challenges, and mentor engineers to drive quality, safety, and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Provide authoritative technical leadership and governance for mechanical building services design across major infrastructure projects to ensure compliance and excellence.
• Review and approve technical designs, ensuring adherence to relevant codes, standards, and best practices.
• Lead the resolution of complex technical, design, and risk-related challenges to maintain project integrity and delivery.
• Oversee mechanical engineering delivery on high-profile projects, ensuring achievement of quality, safety, cost, and programme objectives.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients and key stakeholders, providing expert guidance to support project success.
• Contribute technical input, value engineering, and risk assessments to support bids, tenders, and proposals.
• Establish and maintain technical standards, design guides, and best-practice frameworks to ensure consistent quality.
• Mentor and develop senior engineers and future technical leaders, supporting succession planning and capability enhancement.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated building solutions.
• Promote innovation, digital engineering, sustainability, and safety-in-design practices across all projects to advance project outcomes.

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Chartered / Professional Engineer status (PE, CPEng, or equivalent)
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in mechanical building services within a consulting environment
• Proven track record delivering complex, multidisciplinary building projects
• Proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated business development and account management skills
