Technical Manager

We are a leading provider of curtain wall solutions, specializing in the design, supply, and installation of curtain walls, aluminum works, glazing works, canopies, shopfronts, and structural steelworks. With a growing portfolio of high-value projects, we are seeking a dynamic and strategic Technical Manager to join our team and drive our business growth. The Technical Manager shall be the primary person responsible for the promotion, coordination, and implementation of project technical plans. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Participate in the development and review of project design schemes and provide professional, practical, and reasonable technical recommendations.

2. Coordinate and promote the implementation of external technical and design schemes; liaise with internal teams to obtain appropriate technical input; review scheme drawings and draft drawings in advance; and ensure that design implementation complies with Singapore standards and specific project requirements.

3. Participate in and support internal design coordination meetings, technical planning meetings, and related project discussions.

4. Participate in project construction management, review construction methodologies and construction plans, and collaborate in the preparation of specialised construction plans where required.

5. Participate in project sample approval/sealing management, VPMU management, and provide regular on-site technical support and coordination during construction.

6. Participate in early-stage project cost control management from a technical perspective, including constructability and value optimisation considerations.

7. Carry out other duties as assigned by company management and contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the Company’s project and technical management systems.

Competencies and Attributes

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction or building technology industry, with at least 5 years of relevant project management experience.
• Strong technical knowledge in construction and building systems
• Familiarity with Singapore codes, standards, and project requirements
• Ability to review and coordinate design and construction documentation
• Good communication and coordination skills across internal and external stakeholders
• High level of professionalism, responsibility, and attention to detail
