Technical Sales Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and technically minded professional to support our RMC commercial team. You will be responsible for evaluating customer specifications, preparing accurate quotations, and ensuring seamless order execution. By acting as the central point of contact between clients, dispatch, and quality control, you will ensure our concrete products meet both aesthetic and structural requirements while driving customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Quote & Proposal Generation: Interpret structural blueprints, technical specifications, and engineering requirements to draft accurate, competitive concrete supply proposals.
• Order Management & Logistics: Process confirmed sales orders, review pour schedules, and coordinate with the dispatch team to ensure timely and accurate truck deliveries to job sites.
• Technical Support: Assist clients with basic technical inquiries regarding concrete mix designs, slump requirements, admixtures, and curing methods.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the liaison between the field sales team, batching plant operators, and quality control (QC) personnel to ensure requested mix designs are structurally and economically feasible.
• Account Maintenance: Maintain up-to-date customer records, track project bidding statuses, and assist the finance team with billing and debt collection follow-ups.
• Market Monitoring: Monitor active projects, track competitor activities, and compile sales performance reports to support management forecasting.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Material Science, or a relevant technical discipline.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in related sales activities, project management, or technical roles within the construction or ready-mix concrete industry.
• Technical Aptitude: Ability to read engineering/construction drawings and a solid understanding of construction cycles, concrete properties, and pour planning with be a plus.
