Technical Sales Engineer (Construction Materials Industry)

About the Company

They are seeking a motivated and technically competent individual to join their growing commercial team.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients within the construction, infrastructure, and building materials sectors.
• Identify new business opportunities and actively expand the customer base.
• Provide technical consultation and product recommendations to customers, consultants, contractors, and developers.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical briefings to clients.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, tender submissions, and follow up on sales opportunities.
• Coordinate closely with internal technical and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
• Participate in site visits, project meetings, and technical support activities when required.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth objectives.

Requirements

• Diploma, preferably in a construction-related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, business development, or construction-related industries.
• Candidates with experience in construction chemicals, concrete technology, waterproofing, admixtures, coatings, or building materials will have an added advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence is preferred.
