TECHNICIAN (ACMV)

1.Carry out installation, testing, and commissioning of ACMV (Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation) systems.

2.Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on ACMV equipment.

3.Troubleshoot and repair faults in air-conditioning and ventilation systems.

4.Service and maintain Chillers, AHUs (Air Handling Units), FCUs (Fan Coil Units), Cooling Towers, Exhaust Fans, Fresh Air Fans, and Mechanical Ventilation systems.

5.Inspect ducts, dampers, filters, diffusers, and ventilation components to ensure proper operation.

6.Replace defective parts such as motors, belts, bearings, filters, thermostats, valves, and sensors.

7.Check refrigerant levels, operating pressures, temperatures, and system performance.

8.Perform duct leakage inspections and rectify air leakage where necessary.

9.Ensure all ACMV equipment operates efficiently and complies with manufacturer specifications.

10.Read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

11.Carry out routine inspections and maintain preventive maintenance schedules.

12.Record maintenance activities, service reports, and equipment performance data.

13.Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, subcontractors, and clients during maintenance or installation works.

14.Ensure all works comply with safety regulations, site procedures, and company policies.

15.Maintain proper housekeeping of work areas, tools, and equipment.

16.Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and carry out corrective actions.

17.Assist in testing, balancing, and commissioning of ACMV systems.

18.Support upgrading, replacement, and modification works for existing ACMV systems.

19.Ensure all maintenance tools, testing instruments, and equipment are in good working condition.

20.Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Project Engineer. These responsibilities are consistent with common ACMV technician roles in Singapore, including operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of building mechanical ventilation and air-conditioning systems.

Job Requirement:
1. Possess at least Diploma in Engineering.
2. Minimum 2 year relevant experience.
