Tender Manager

Job Description

Our Client is seeking an experienced Tender Manager to lead and manage the tendering process for M&E construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing competitive and compliant bids, managing tender submissions, and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end tender process from enquiry to award.
• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Prepare cost estimates and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations.
• Conduct commercial and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Attend tender clarifications and negotiations.
• Support contract handover upon project award.
• Lead and mentor tendering and estimating team members.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in tendering, estimating, or commercial management within the construction or M&E industry.
• Strong knowledge of tender procedures, cost estimation, and contract administration.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in ACMV, Electrical, Fire Protection, ELV, or Integrated M&E projects.
• Familiarity with Singapore construction and government tender requirements.
