Tender Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Prepare cost estimates, tender pricing, quotations, and commercial proposals.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, procurement, and management teams on tender requirements.
• Attend site showrounds, tender interviews, clarification meetings, and negotiations where required.
• Ensure tender submissions are complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
• Prepare tender comparison, cost breakdown, and supporting documents for management review.
• Follow up on tender clarifications, addendums, and post-submission queries.
• Maintain proper records of tender submissions, quotations, and costing documents.
• Support handover of awarded projects to the project team.

Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field would be preferred;
• At least 6 years of experience in tender management in the engineering / construction industry
• Strong knowledge on M&E systems, tender management, M&E quantity surveying work and contract administration;
• Ability to concurrently manage multiple tenders, prepare technical proposal including write-up for tender submissions and handle any ad hoc reports;
• Proficient in Microsoft software or cost management tools, project schedules tools;
• Effective communication skills, strong presentation skills, strategic thinking, team player and customer oriented;
• Proactive, self-motivated, passionate with a positive working attitude, can lead and motivate team.
