Tiler

APEX ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled and experienced Tiler to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out wall and floor tiling works for residential, commercial, and industrial projects while ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, mosaic, and other types of tiles.
• Measure and mark surfaces for accurate tile installation.
• Prepare floors and walls by cleaning, levelling, waterproofing, and applying adhesives.
• Cut and shape tiles using manual and power cutting tools.
• Lay tiles according to approved drawings and project specifications.
• Apply grout and finishing materials to complete tiling works.
• Repair or replace damaged tiles when required.
• Maintain proper housekeeping at the worksite.
• Follow all Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Site Supervisor or Project Manager.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in tiling works.
• Experience in residential, commercial, and industrial projects is preferred.
• Ability to read construction drawings and measurements.
• Knowledge of different tiling materials, adhesives, grouting, and waterproofing methods.
• Physically fit and able to work at construction sites.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Singapore construction safety practices is an advantage.
