TOWER CRANE OPERATOR

Job Responsibilities

• Operate the tower crane safely and efficiently to lift, move, and position construction materials and equipment at site.
• Conduct daily pre-operation inspections and routine checks to ensure the tower crane is in safe working condition.
• Assess load weights and lifting capacities before each lifting operation to ensure compliance with safe working limits.
• Work closely with riggers, signalmen, lifting supervisors, and site personnel to execute lifting activities according to approved lifting plans.
• Follow all safety procedures, site regulations, and operational guidelines to prevent accidents and incidents.
• Maintain accurate records of crane operations, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Report any defects, malfunctions, or safety concerns to the supervisor and maintenance team promptly.
• Ensure housekeeping around the crane access area and maintain a safe working environment.
• Comply with company policies, workplace safety requirements, and relevant government regulations.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience operating tower cranes in construction projects.
• Possess a valid Tower Crane Operator Certificate and MOM-approved Crane Operator Licence in Singapore.
• Strong knowledge of tower crane operations, load charts, lifting procedures, and workplace safety requirements.
• Familiarity with lifting plans, rigging practices, and standard hand signal communication.
• Good understanding of relevant WSH regulations and industry best practices.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced outdoor construction environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with site teams.
• Responsible, safety-conscious, and committed to maintaining high operational standards.
