Truck Mechanic

MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT AND COMPONENT ASSEMBLER

This full-time role is responsible for the repair and maintenance of heavy vehicles, ensuring their safe and efficient operation.

Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in heavy vehicles.
Perform scheduled service and maintenance activities including inspections, flush and filling of engine, brake, clutch oil etc, oil filter/seal replacement, brake pads replacement, tyres replacement/rotation and component replacements.
Test and calibrate vehicle systems to meet manufacturer specifications.
Usage of diagnostic tools, special tools, equipment to ensure accurate and effective repair works.
Maintain detailed records of all repairs and maintenance activities. Implement process improvements.
Knowledge of engine and gearbox overhaul.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
