Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wall Tiler to undertake complex tiling works for commercial, industrial, institutional, and high-end residential construction projects in Singapore. The successful candidate must possess advanced technical expertise in tile installation, surface preparation, waterproofing coordination, quality control, and project execution while working under stringent construction standards and tight project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and execute tiling works based on architectural drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Plan tile layouts, establish reference lines, and calculate material requirements with minimal supervision.
• Install ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, mosaic, homogeneous, and large-format wall tiles to exact project specifications.
• Perform advanced surface preparation, including screeding, levelling, rendering, and substrate rectification.
• Coordinate with waterproofing, M&E, and finishing teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct precision cutting, edge finishing, profiling, and pattern alignment for complex tile installations.
• Inspect completed works to ensure compliance with quality standards, tolerances, and client requirements.
• Identify and rectify defects, alignment issues, hollow tiles, lippage, and surface imperfections.
• Supervise and guide junior tilers and construction workers where necessary.
• Ensure adherence to Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety procedures.
• Prepare daily work reports and communicate progress with site supervisors and project managers.
• Work independently to resolve on-site technical challenges and maintain project timelines.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience in large-scale construction or renovation projects.
• Proven experience in commercial buildings, shopping malls, hotels, industrial facilities, and high-end residential developments.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore construction standards, materials, and installation techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and site instructions.
• Experience handling large-format tiles, natural stone cladding, and decorative wall finishes.
• Ability to calculate measurements, material quantities, and tile layouts accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physically fit and capable of working in demanding construction environments.
• Willing to work overtime and meet critical project deadlines.

Working Hours

• 6 days per week.
• Overtime, weekend, and public holiday work may be required depending on project schedules.
