Job Description - Workplace Safety & Health Officer (TA)

Job Description:

  • Measure and monitor the worksite HSE performance and recommend corrective and preventive measures to meet HSE objectives.
  • Carry out HSE inspections and ensure HSE compliance
  • Liaise with the project team to ensure work are carried out according to HSE requirement and, all findings are promptly followed up and rectified
  • Develop, establish and implement project HSE Program and action Plan.
  • Proper record keeping of HSE management system.
  • Organize and Conduct Daily Toolbox Meeting, Weekly HSE Mass Toolbox Briefing.
  • Lead accident/incident investigation team to carry out investigation in any workplace accident/ incident/near misses and recommend corrective and preventive measures to prevent re-occurrence.
  • Establish site emergency procedures, Organize and coordinate emergency preparedness exercise according to worksite emergency protocol.
  • Intervene in all unsafe practices or acts observed, recommending solutions for work to be carried out safely and provide counseling to person who commits contraventions to promote behavior-based safety culture in the project.

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Experience in LTA projects would be advantage.
