Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) Officer / Safety Officer

Location: Construction Site

Job Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies and procedures at the construction site.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential safety hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
• Ensure compliance with WSH Act, regulations and company safety requirements.
• Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings and safety inductions for workers.
• Prepare, review and maintain WSH documentation, including Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems.
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Liaise with project team, subcontractors and relevant authorities on safety matters.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure safe work practices on site.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry.
• Possess relevant WSH qualifications recognized in Singapore.
• Familiar with Singapore construction safety requirements and regulations.
• Able to work independently and manage site safety matters.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in Mandarin Chinese to liaise with Mandarin-speaking workers and site personnel.

Work Details

• 6-day work week
• Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
