Job Description

• Position Title: WSH Officer cum ECO
• Working Location: Tuas
• Working Hours: 5.5 Days (Mon – Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Sat, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary
• Duration: 1 year contract

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Workplace Safety and Health Officer and Environmental Control Officer for assigned industrial building construction project sites.
• Ensure compliance with MOM, NEA, client, and project safety and environmental requirements.
• Implement and monitor workplace safety procedures and site safety practices.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
• Identify unsafe work conditions and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure workers, subcontractors, and site personnel follow safety procedures and site rules.
• Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and safety-related training when required.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, near misses, and environmental issues, and prepare reports.
• Maintain proper records for inspections, permits, risk assessments, incident reports, and compliance matters.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, clients, consultants, and authorities on safety and environmental matters.
• Support site operations while maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

• MOM-registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer certification.
• NEA-certified Environmental Control Officer qualification.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in industrial building construction projects is an advantage.
• Familiar with Singapore workplace safety regulations, environmental control requirements, and site compliance standards.
• Able to work independently and manage site safety and environmental matters.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work closely with project teams, subcontractors, clients, and authorities.
