Job Summary

Support workplace safety by identifying and assessing risks, recommending and implementing safety measures, investigating incidents, and monitoring WSH performance to ensure a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess foreseeable risks arising from the workplace or work processes to protect workers and affected persons
  • Recommend reasonably practicable measures to eliminate identified risks in collaboration with workplace occupiers or persons in charge
  • Assist workplace occupiers or persons in charge to implement safety measures and safe work procedures effectively
  • Investigate incidents and accidents to determine causes and advise on remedial actions to prevent recurrence
  • Measure and monitor Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) performance of projects and present findings in WSH committee meetings
  • Support construction site safety personnel in managing incidents or violations promptly
  • Review and update Safety and Health Management System (SHMS) to comply with new regulations or amendments

Required competencies and certifications

  • Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) and/or Bachelor’s Degree in WSH or related field
  • MOM registered WSH Officer with Level C Certificate in WSH
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience as a WSH Officer, preferably in Building Construction or private residential projects such as landed properties
  • Willing to travel around project site offices within Singapore.
