Aircon and Refrigerating Equipment Mechanic

Job Scope

• Assist in the installation of residential and commercial air-conditioning and refrigerator systems
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of air-conditioners
• Diagnose and troubleshoot air-conditioning faults
• Repair or replace faulty components such as compressors, fan motors, capacitors, thermostats.
• Carry out chemical washing and chemical overhaul of air-conditioning units
• Clean and service indoor and outdoor units, including filters, coils, and drainage systems
• Test and commission newly installed air-conditioning systems
• Perform maintenance on mechanical ventilation and exhaust fan systems
• Ensure all work complies with workplace safety regulations and company procedures
• Complete service reports and update maintenance records
• Respond to customer service calls and provide basic technical advice to clients
• Handle emergency repair and breakdown calls when required
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicles in good condition

Requirements

• Experience in air-conditioning, refrigerator servicing, and repair
• Able to carry out basic electrical and maintenance works
• Basic electrical troubleshooting knowledge
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and comfortable working at heights when necessary
• Possess a Singapore Class 3 driving licence (preferred for field servicing roles)
• Willing to work overtime when required
