Assistant Service Supervisor

Job Description

The Assistant Outlet Supervisor supports the day-to-day operations of the outlet by driving sales performance, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining operational standards. The role is responsible for supervising outlet staff, overseeing inventory control, cash handling, product quality, hygiene and safety compliance, customer order fulfilment, and administrative duties to ensure smooth and efficient outlet operations. The incumbent will also lead and motivate the team to achieve sales targets, enhance productivity, and deliver a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily outlet operations and ensure compliance with company SOPs.

• Drive sales performance and achieve assigned sales targets.

• Provide excellent customer service and handle customer enquiries and feedback.

• Monitor inventory, stock levels, product shelf life, and ordering processes.

• Ensure proper cash handling, reporting, and administrative documentation.

• Maintain outlet cleanliness, food quality, hygiene, safety, and security standards.

• Monitor merchandising displays, promotions, and outlet presentation.

• Coordinate customer order fulfilment, deliveries, and returns.

• Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate outlet staff.

• Manage manpower scheduling and staff attendance.

• Control food waste, inventory variances, and labour costs.

• Support productivity improvement and innovation initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum secondary school qualification, diploma, or professional certificate.

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in retail, F&B, or outlet operations.

• Experience in chain outlets will be an added advantage.

• Candidates without formal qualifications may be considered if they possess relevant work experience.

• Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

• Strong leadership, supervisory, and people-management abilities.

• Independent, proactive, organised, and responsible.

• Able to work flexible hours, including overtime when required.
