Job Description - Asst Store Manager/Store Manager
Job Summary
The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall daily retail store operations, driving sales performance, delivering excellent customer service standards, and ensuring smooth store operations in alignment with the brand’s image and business objectives.
The role requires strong leadership capabilities to manage store teams, maintain operational excellence, achieve sales targets, and create a positive shopping experience for customers within a fast-paced fashion lifestyle retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Performance
Drive store sales to achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales budget.
Monitor store KPIs including sales conversion, average transaction value (ATV), units per transaction (UPT), average sales per transaction (ASP).
Analyse sales performance and implement action plans to improve business results.
Ensure effective execution of promotional activities, visual merchandising campaigns, and seasonal launches.
Identify opportunities to maximise store profitability and operational efficiency.
2. Customer Service Excellence
Deliver exceptional customer service standards in accordance with company guidelines.
Build strong customer relationships and promote customer loyalty.
Handle customer feedback, enquiries, and complaints professionally and promptly.
Ensure the store team maintains a positive, energetic, and service-oriented environment.
3. Team Leadership & People Management
Lead, motivate, coach, and develop the retail team to achieve store objectives.
Conduct regular staff training and on-the-job coaching to enhance product knowledge and selling skills.
Manage staff scheduling, manpower planning, attendance, and performance evaluation.
Foster teamwork, discipline, and a positive working culture.
Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and retention of retail staff.
4. Store Operations Management
Ensure smooth daily store operations including opening and closing procedures.
Maintain proper inventory control and stock replenishment processes.
Ensure accurate stock movement, stock take, and loss prevention measures.
Monitor housekeeping and maintain high visual merchandising standards.
Ensure compliance with company SOPs, security procedures, and workplace safety regulations.
5. Inventory & Merchandising
Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to minimise stock shortages.
Ensure merchandise displays are attractive, commercial, and aligned with brand standards.
Support seasonal product launches, markdowns, and promotional setups.
Analyse product sell-through performance and provide feedback to merchandising teams.
Accountable for stock variance and loss prevention.
6. Administrative & Reporting Duties
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operational reports.
Manage store documentation, cash handling, and POS transactions accurately.
Ensure compliance with audit requirements and company policies.
Support retail operations projects and ad-hoc assignments when required.
Job Requirements:
Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
At least 3 years of retail experience in fashion, lifestyle, apparel, retail environment.
Minimum 2 years of supervisory or store management experience preferred.
Experience managing a team in a fast-paced retail environment is highly advantageous.

5-day rotating shift schedule depending on operational requirements.
Preferably able to start work with short notice.

Experience in fashion lifestyle brands or fast fashion retail chains.
Bilingual communication skills (English and Mandarin) to communicate with diverse customers and retail stakeholders from HQ.
Knowledge of Singapore retail market and customer behaviour.
