Bartender

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes
• Take drink orders from guests or servers accurately and efficiently
• Check guest IDs to verify legal drinking age
• Maintain knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits, and recommend pairings
• Manage cash and card transactions, and reconcile the bar till at end of shift
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and intervene responsibly to prevent overservice
• Keep the bar area clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Manage bar inventory, track stock levels, and place orders as needed
• Set up and break down the bar before/after service
• Ensure compliance with alcohol licensing laws and health/safety regulations
• Create an engaging, friendly atmosphere for guests
