Business Development Executive

Traders is looking for a Retail & E-Commerce Business Development Executive to support our shop operations, online sales, supplier coordination and business growth.

The candidate will receive on-the-job training in retail operations, product knowledge, Shopee/e-commerce listing, customer service, inventory control, supplier sourcing and sales development.

This role is suitable for candidates who are willing to learn and grow in retail, e-commerce and business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve walk-in customers and recommend suitable products
• Assist with daily shop operations and cashier duties
• Manage product display, pricing and stock arrangement
• Check inventory and monitor fast-moving items
• Create and update Shopee/e-commerce product listings
• Take simple product photos and prepare product descriptions
• Handle online customer enquiries and order follow-ups
• Coordinate with suppliers for pricing, samples and stock availability
• Support membership sign-ups, WhatsApp promotions and customer retention
• Prepare simple sales reports
• Assist in sourcing new products for retail and wholesale customers
• Support promotional campaigns for construction workers, dormitory customers and regular shoppers

Requirements

• Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident preferred
• No prior retail or e-commerce experience required
• Training will be provided
• Basic computer and mobile phone skills
• Able to communicate with customers politely
• Willing to learn product knowledge, online sales and supplier coordination
• Responsible, punctual and customer-focused
• Able to work retail hours, weekends and public holidays when required
