Job Summary

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving the company’s growth strategy by identifying new business opportunities, expanding market presence, and strengthening commercial partnerships. This role focuses on revenue growth, strategic planning, and market expansion within the supermarket and FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute business growth strategies to increase revenue and market share

Identify and secure new business opportunities, including partnerships, suppliers, and distribution channels

Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to support strategic decision-making

Lead negotiations with key suppliers and partners to achieve favorable commercial terms

Expand product portfolio by sourcing new brands and high-demand goods

Drive promotional campaigns and strategic collaborations to boost sales performance

Monitor financial performance, sales targets, and profitability metrics

Prepare business proposals, feasibility studies, and management reports

Work closely with operations team to align business strategies with store execution

Lead and mentor junior staff in business development and sales functions
