Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and revenue growth objectives.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers in target markets, including convenience stores, supermarkets, and ship chandler businesses.
• Proactively prospect and qualify new leads to expand the customer base.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions and proposals that meet customer needs and drive value.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure profitable business agreements.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, trends, and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management roles within the convenience store, supermarket, or ship chandler industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• Possession of a Class 3 license is considered a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
