Job Title: Centre Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Centre Manager to join our new H&C Chinese Art Centre in Parkway Centre. The successful candidate will plays a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of our Chinese art centre. This position requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to ensure the centre runs smoothly and achieves its educational goals.
Operational Oversight:
Manage all aspects of the education center's daily operations, including scheduling, facility management, and resource allocation.
Ensure a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for students and staff.
Monitor and evaluate center performance, implementing improvements as needed.
Curriculum Development and Implementation:
Collaborate with educational experts and instructors to develop engaging and effective curriculum plans.
Ensure alignment with educational standards, learning objectives, and student needs.
Oversee the implementation of curriculum, monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary.
Staff Management and Development:
· Recruit, train, and supervise a team of tutors and administrative staff.
· Provide leadership, guidance, and support to staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture.
· Conduct regular performance evaluations, identify training needs, and facilitate professional development opportunities.
Student Enrolment and Engagement:
· Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain students, ensuring optimal enrolment levels.
· Coordinate student assessments, placements, and progress tracking.
· Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment, promoting student success and satisfaction.
Parent and Community Engagement:
· Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents, guardians, and the community.
· Communicate centre programs, policies, and student progress effectively to parents and stakeholders.
· Organize and participate in community events, workshops, and outreach activities to promote the centre’s mission.
Financial Management:
· Develop and manage the centre’s budget, ensuring financial sustainability and efficiency.
· Monitor revenue streams, expenses, and financial reports, making data-driven decisions for resource allocation.
· Identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost-saving measures, and funding opportunities.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
· Ensure compliance with educational regulations, accreditation standards, and licensing requirements.
· Implement quality assurance measures to uphold educational standards and student outcomes.
· Conduct regular audits, assessments, and reviews to maintain centre excellence.
Strategic Planning and Growth:
· Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve centre objectives and growth targets.
· Identify market trends, competitive analysis, and opportunities for program expansion or enhancement.
· Collaborate with senior management or board members to align centre goals with organizational mission and vision.
Qualifications:
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, to handle both English and Mandarin-speaking customers.
• Diploma in Education/Teaching/Business Management or equivalent
• Proven experience in educational management, preferably in a similar role.
• Knowledge of educational principles, curriculum development, and learning methodologies.
• Ability to build relationships with students, parents, staff, and the community.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
• Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning
environment.
• Possess a passion for working with children.
Working Conditions:
• 5 working days per week
• 40 hours of working a week
