Responsibility:
We are seeking an experienced Chef to manage daily kitchen operations in our restaurant. The Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals, planning menus, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring food quality, consistency, and hygiene standards. This role also involves managing inventory, controlling food costs, and maintaining compliance with NEA food safety regulations..
Job Description:
* Prepare and cook daily meals according to the menu.
* Plan and update menus based on customer needs and seasonal ingredients.
* Manage and supervise the overall kitchen operations.
* Train, guide, and support kitchen staff.
* Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and follow NEA food safety standards.
* Control food cost, manage stock, and reduce wastage.
* Maintain food quality, taste, and consistency for all dishes.
Working Location: JURONG WEST
Requirement:
* At least 5 Year(s) of working experience and have experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Must possess at least higher Education/ Diploma in any field.
* Bilingual speaker
* Strong leadership skills and management competencies.
* Strategic & critical thinking as well as decision-making and negotiation skills.
* Able to adapt, prioritize, exercise initiative, manage pressure, multi task and work independently.
* Excellent organizational and coordination skills, including communication and interpersonal skills to deal with a diverse spectrum of people.
* Time management/ meticulous and mature in work.
* Need to work on weekend
