Job description for the Cleaning Operation Manager

Plan, organize, and manage the daily cleaning operations across multiple client sites to ensure service quality and operational efficiency.

Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate cleaning supervisors and cleaning staff to ensure high performance and compliance with company standards.

Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and client satisfaction.

Develop work schedules, manpower deployment plans, and cleaning procedures to meet operational requirements.

Liaise with clients to understand their requirements, resolve service issues, and maintain strong business relationships.

Monitor inventory levels and arrange the procurement of cleaning chemicals, equipment, machinery, uniforms, and consumables.

Ensure all cleaning operations comply with Singapore workplace safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.

Prepare operational reports, site inspection reports, incident reports, attendance records, and monthly performance reports for management.

Manage operational budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-control measures while maintaining service quality.

Investigate customer complaints promptly and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve service delivery.

Coordinate with HR on staff recruitment, onboarding, training, leave management, and performance appraisals.

Plan and oversee periodic deep-cleaning, post-renovation cleaning, disinfection, and special cleaning projects.
