Position: Cleaning Services Site Supervisor / Roving Supervisor Industry: Facilities Management & Environmental Cleaning Services Location: Various Locations Across Singapore Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: SGD 2,600 – SGD 3,800 per month (commensurate with experience, qualifications, and site assignment)
About the Role
We are seeking experienced and responsible Cleaning Services Site Supervisors and Roving Supervisors to oversee daily cleaning operations at commercial, industrial, educational, healthcare, and residential facilities across Singapore.
The successful candidates will be responsible for supervising cleaning staff, ensuring service quality, maintaining client satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with workplace safety and environmental cleaning standards.
Key Responsibilities
Site Operations Management
Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning operations at assigned sites.
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed according to contractual requirements, service schedules, and company standards.
Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Monitor the proper use of cleaning equipment, machinery, and chemicals.
Ensure adequate stock levels of cleaning supplies and consumables.
Staff Supervision
Lead, supervise, and motivate cleaning personnel on-site.
Prepare work schedules, duty rosters, and deployment plans.
Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and work performance.
Conduct on-the-job training and coaching for cleaning personnel.
Ensure staff comply with company policies, safety procedures, and site regulations.
Client Relations
Liaise with clients, building management, and site representatives on operational matters.
Address service feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Conduct regular service reviews and inspections with clients where required.
Escalate major operational concerns to management when necessary.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Perform routine quality checks and audits.
Ensure compliance with:Environmental cleaning standardsWorkplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirementsProgressive Wage Model (PWM) requirementsCompany Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Prepare incident reports, inspection reports, and corrective action plans when required.
Roving Supervisor Responsibilities (Applicable to Roving Positions)
Visit multiple sites daily to conduct inspections and support site operations.
Provide manpower support during staff shortages, emergencies, and special projects.
Assist with onboarding and deployment of new employees.
Support Area Managers in maintaining service standards across multiple locations.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in environmental cleaning, facilities management, housekeeping, or related industries.
Prior experience supervising cleaning teams is preferred.
Familiarity with commercial, industrial, residential, educational, or healthcare cleaning environments.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Preferred WSQ Certifications
Candidates should possess one or more of the following relevant WSQ certifications:
WSQ Certificate in Environmental Cleaning
WSQ Advanced Certificate in Environmental Services Supervision
WSQ Environmental Cleaning Operations and Supervision Certifications
WSQ Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) related certifications
WSQ Leadership and Team Management Certifications
Other relevant Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) certifications related to environmental cleaning and facilities services
Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to conduct site inspections and quality audits.
Basic computer literacy for reporting and communication.
Knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and cleaning methodologies.
Ability to work flexible hours when operationally required.
