Procure ocean freight rates (including tank container) from carriers and NVOCCs; prepare costings and competitive selling prices for RFQs and spot shipments.
Generate new sales by identifying and engaging prospective customers in the chemical, food-grade, and bulk liquid logistics sectors.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on RFQs and costing; respond promptly to customer calls, email queries, and complaints.
Manage quotations using the in-house CRM; maintain accurate customer records and proper filing systems.
Follow up on shipment status and escalate critical issues to the Commercial Manager – Tank Container Division.
Prepare daily documentation (contracts, quotations, reports) and operate in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Perform and manage sales transactions effectively from quote to booking confirmation.
Requirements
At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
