$2,500 - 3,200 monthly

Job Description - CUSTOMER SERVICE CLERK

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle customer enquiries promptly and professionally.

  • Prepare quotations, including ad-hoc Cash-on-Delivery (COD) requests.

  • Liaise with overseas agents to obtain freight rates and shipment requirements.

  • Prepare shipping documentation for LCL and FCL shipments accurately.

  • Coordinate closely with import and export operations to ensure timely documentation and billing.

  • Work with carriers, customers, and suppliers to ensure smooth and on-time shipment delivery.

  • Ensure compliance with customers' Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Prepare Dangerous Goods (DG) declarations and coordinate packing and labelling requirements.

  • Provide guidance to Customer Service Executives and Customer Service Officers, serving as the first point of escalation.

  • Support the team with other operational or administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding, preferably in Seafreight operations.

  • Diploma or Degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.

  • Good communication, coordination, team player and interpersonal skills.

  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
