Job Description - Customer Service Executive (5 Days/Freight Forwarding/East) #66168

Job Description

  • Industry/ Organization Type: Freight Forwarding / Transportation
  • Position Title: Customer Service Executive (Freight Forwarding)
  • Working Location: Loyang Way
  • Working Hours: 5 days, Monday – Friday (8:30 am – 5:30 pm / 9 am – 6 pm)
  • Salary Package: Basic up to $3,000 + AWS + Variable Bonus + Performance Bonus
  • Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries concerning quotes and operational matters.
  • Handle inquiries, prepare quotations, and manage shipment activations, including cross-trade shipments.
  • Coordinate smoothly with customers for incoming, outgoing, and cross-trade shipments.
  • Liaise with Overseas Agents for shipment activities.
  • Good understanding of import and export procedures.
  • Ensure timely completion of all required documentation.
  • Assist in sales and marketing activities as needed.
  • Address and resolve customer issues promptly, ensuring the non-recurrence of similar concerns.
  • Perform accurate data entry for reporting purposes.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned.

  • Minimum of GCE 'O' Level, 'N' Level, or ITE certification.
  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience in a related field.
  • A positive, customer-focused attitude and working attitude.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferably possess basic experience in sea/air shipment procedures.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required.
