Job Description - Customer Service Executive (Full-Time, 7.30AM Start)

Are you a natural helper with a sunny attitude? Do you love making someone’s day better—especially when they’re stressed out over a cake?

Bob the Baker Boy is looking for a Customer Service Executive to join our fast-paced and passionate team. You’ll be the voice of the brand—helping customers with their cake orders, replying to messages and tickets, and assisting in ensuring all morning deliveries run smoothly.

We need someone bright, efficient, and calm under pressure. Someone who shows up early, smiles often, and isn’t afraid of multitasking.

❌ This role is NOT for you if:

• You can’t report to work by 7:30 AM daily

• You get easily overwhelmed when things get busy

• You find customer complaints frustrating or unfair

• You prefer a quiet desk job with no urgency or last-minute changes

• You don’t crumble under pressure—especially when the phones are ringing and drivers are waiting

🧁 What You’ll Do:

• Answer customer enquiries via WhatsApp, Zendesk, email, and calls

• Help customers make or adjust cake orders

• Assist with dispatches—ensuring cakes are packed and sent off correctly in the morning

• Work closely with the kitchen and delivery teams to solve any issues before they affect the customer

• Flag any unusual cases to your team lead, and step in to help wherever needed

🌟 What We’re Looking For:

• Prior customer service experience (bonus if it’s in retail, food, or online sales)

• Able to communicate fluently in English (Mandarin is a plus)

• Can handle computers, messaging platforms, and learn new systems quickly (Zendesk experience is a bonus)

• Positive attitude, good energy, and willingness to learn fast

• Able to commit to early start time (7:30 AM sharp) and work 5/6 days/ alternate week

🕐 Working Hours:

• 5/6 days/ alternate week (Able to work on weekends / Public holidays) Rest day fall on weekdays.

• Start time: 7:30 AM

• Location: Pandan Loop (near Clementi MRT)
